DD Friday - what are you having?

Hi all

B: Black coffee
L: nothing
D: 3 eggs and some cheese

Totals = 500 kcals

Might be tough today as i'm up since 4am so i can work this morning then i'm heading north to visit friends for the weekend. I'm taking my eggs and cheese with me - my friend does JUDDD so understands and she's on a DD today too.

B coffee boosted with MCT oil and lecithin (158kcals)

L cocoa boosted with MCT and lecithin, made with 300ml unsweetened almond milk and 1Tbsp cocoa powder (approx 230kcals)

D Shirataki noodles with fish sauce, a few prawns and mange tout, dried tomato, spring onions, cabbage. (70kcals)

Running total of 358 but maintenance gives me an additional 400kcals if I need them.

EVIE - have a great time! How awesome your friend does JUDDD too! We are traveling to friends this weekend too, then to Dad's on Sunday.

SLow - how are you today??? Able to move at all?

Well, it's a DD! My tummy is already grumbling, I am drinking some water to hold it down, keep it quiet!

As I stated, we are seeing friends this weekend too. Today is traveling in the car 3 1/2 hours. Hoping for the best. I will allow myself up to 1000c IF NEEDED, but hoping it will be closer to 800c.

Off at noon, all I have here is 2 eggs! That's a good start!

SS, I hope you are feeling better as the week has gone by.

Monica, I also hope you have a great time this weekend. It is always nice to get out of town for a little bit, especially to visit with friends!

I have a feeling this DD will be very easy. My own friends are going off for a camping trip. As I am STILL recuperating from being sick last week, I am skipping it to stay home and rest. This means no temptation of dinner out, beer/wine, etc. Yay!

B: Coffee, 2 tsp non-dairy creamer. (25 cals.)
L: Sunflower seeds. (About 100 cals.)
D: Unknown. If my non-appetite keeps up, I won't have anything. Lots of cleaning to do around the house, so that will keep me very busy. Then I will head to bed early.

working from home today so lots of temptations handy. I haven't been doing really strict DDs this month but hoping to stay below 700 today.

B- special K breakfast sandwich (200)
L - light greek yogurt (80)
D - 2 slices tomatoe pie (260), sprinkle of parmesan cheese (25) and some shredded lettuce salad for bulk dressed with vinegar and spices (20)

I have celery and other veggies handy if I get snacky.

Planning a protein shake before bed. (160) If I need another one through the day, I can have it, but would like to stick to one. Did that on Wednesday and it worked well.

gosh, Jen, this is hanging around for a long time - whatever the virus is, it's time for it to write its 'thank you for hosting me but I really must move on' letter.

Thank you for the good wishes everyone. I slept last night for pretty much the first time since Saturday. I'm feeling a lot better for it. I think it's really helping that some of the internal bruising is now showing up, which is giving me relief from the internal pressure that had been hurting so much.

I hope that everyone has a good lead in to the weekend.

Since I ate everything (literally, I ate the entire world) yesterday, I need a nice clean DD today.

L- coffee w some coconut creamer
D- almond milk with sf chocolate syrup

Hoping to come in around 100, but not stressing about it if it's over.

Thanks Cindy - I've missed everyone and the support of this special place! It's been a stressful month and something had to give if I wanted to maintain my sanity so I stopped counting and obsessing on diet. I've just been roughly rotating EOD - on "diet" days I try and stay below 1000 counting in my head but not tracking closely and on non-diet days I try and not go crazy. Trying to stay off the scale for now (stress - remember??) for most days but I did sneak one peak earlier this week. I think in the last 3 weeks I may have gained 2 pounds but in my world that could be a blip meaning nothing - just a salty meal the night before possibly. Anyway - I still lurk when I can and hopefully when my life calms down I can hunker down on JUDDD again and join all my JBs more regularly.

Yes, we're closed on Friday's (university) during the summer months, so May through Aug. (beginning of Aug). I want this summer to proceed leisurely.

I don't have any idea what I want to do....again!

I'm really enjoying the Coffee/HWC/fat fast DDs, but I don't want to overdue it. I was considering having a fruit/veg day, but sometimes that makes me hungry. I could sure have plenty though for around 400 calories.

So far it's just been iced tea w/lemon. I'm not hungry at all yet, so I'll just wait awhile and see what I feel like later. What a weird feeling this is to not have a plan, and not know what I want!

I am having 2 atkins shakes w instant coffee (300 cals) and a small snack later on tonight for about 50-100 cals...not sure what it will be or if I even need it...last DD I drank 2 large cups of salty chicken broth about an hour before bed and I retained water badly...probably not the best idea.

Thanks for dropping by TJ. I hope things soon settle down for you.


I had to go to the bank this afternoon and didn't get home till the hunger zone (4 till 5pm-ish) had passed. So a very easy DD.

8pm: Just had an enormous warm salad of steamed, shredded broccoli and courgette linguine with red bell pepper, ff Greek yogurt and 60g smoked salmon. Served on a big pile of romaine, watercress and rocket. Yum!!! - 250 cals.

Plus 3 English cuppas - 45 cals.
Hopefully, if my dinner lasts, will come in at just under 300 cals for the day.

I had 10 birthday cake oreos. Some sadistic creature came out with that variety. Of course, I bought them for "UD" treats today. Ahem. Well it was a UD "treat" and today has become one. I needed to switch rotations, but didn't exactly plan it this way. Oh well, se la vie.

Found a store near me that sells Kims Magic Pops. I was afraid to open the bag because I didn't think I'd be able to stop at 1 or 2, and I was right to fear that. Had 5 in a row! 75 calories, which isn't bad for that amount of munching. I think I'll save these for my UD's, so I can sit on the couch and mindlessly much on them and not have to worry about having more than a couple of hundred calories.

2 cups of coffee w/ coconut creamer: 75 calories
Kims Magic Pops: 75 calories
A cup of almond milk w/ sf chocolate syrup (such a good new DD staple): 50 calories

200 total.

I had 200g of watermelon for a snack and now I'm not hungry for dinner. I have a headache too, so it's going to be an early night. 360 calories total.
