10 pounds!! whoosh!

After many years of maintaining a slow gain had crept up on me and I was having to pull out old -gasp- bigger clothes! eek! So i re-inducted half heartedly and knowing that wouldnt cut it got serious. Now 13 days later 10 pounds gone!

I feel so fabulous I cannot believe I let myself think tat a cookie was more important than feeling 20 years younger and more comfortable in my skin. 20 more to go. This time I will not be crept up on.

Just reading all these threads helped me get back in the saddle more than ya'll will ever know. Thank you to all the faithful posters out there!!

Could you elaborate on "got serious" please?

TIA

If I had a 10 pound loss in 13 days, I might get so excited I would stroke....

Nice job, and awesome results!

heidihoopi

Heidihoopi - Sorry i just saw your question. I took it to induction. For me this is either breakfast: bulletproof coffee or 2 scrambled eggs with cheese and butter with sausage 2-4 small links, snack: cheese and meat, lunch: grilled meat of any kind with a small salad, then a dinner of grilled meat and a vegetable with lots of water. My meat is cooked with plenty of butter, oil etc. No more recipes from the recipe room that are ooey gooey (which I love) just plain and simple until the 20 is gone then I will have wiggle room to enter maintenance with more options.

Sorry so long but I wanted to give you a full and honest answer. My salad is usually lettuce small amount of cheese bacon bits and vinegar/oil. Hope this helps. This is tried and true. I have two friends that came on board and one lost 6 pounds the first week and the other eight. So Atkins is dead on for us.

Good luck!

Congratulations. I am finding myself making a note of exactly what you ate so I too can hopefully get a 10lb loss success this week.
