Paleo v. Primal?

I believe that paleo is eating only things that were available to our hunter gatherer anscestors.
But I'm not sure what "primal" means.
Can someone explain the difference to me?
Thanks.

Primal is paleo plus dairy. Preferably pastured, as well as raw and/or fermented. Mark Sisson of Mark's Daily Apple is a major proponent of primal. He would also likely argue a bit with your definition, as he's more interested in what is biochemically optimal for our bodies rather than specifically what was available during Paleolithic times.
