UD Wednesday - menus!

Hola folks!

Great day so far not a clue what to eat beyond lunch though...

B: late. 4 small pancakes (aunt jemima mix) and 5 slices thick cut bacon. SF maple syrup

L: probably chicken and salad

D: maybe a steak and cauliflower? possibly homemade icecream and/or strawberry rhubarb cobbler

Breakfast was bratwurst with red cabbage and roasted root vegetables. Lunch will be sashimi, and dinner artichokes and some kind of protein. Looking forward to it after a low Down day yesterday.

Rhubarb cobbler sounds good, Soren!

I think it's only 2000 miles give or take, Soren, but I'll be there for dinner - it sounds yum from start to finish!

B: Coffee/HWC
L: Coffee/HWC, maybe ff greek yogurt
D: Saved it all up for Cheesecake Factory!

I don't know what I'll get yet, but it will include a cocktail, a nice dinner and at least a few bites of cheesecake of some sort. I want to keep it in the 2000-2200 range for sure, so I'll need to peruse the online calorie counts beforehand.

Check out their Skinnylicous menu. Lots of great choices, all yummy, and under 600 calories. Then you can have a WHOLE slice of cheesecake!

Scarlett, yep, I often have sf irish crème creamer on UD mornings and have similar issues. {sigh}

LCG, ooh, cheesecake factory! YUMVILLE!!!!!!!!! enjoy!!!!!!!

Happy UD peeps! <<waving>>

I had a volunteer breaky at my DD's school this morning. Ended up with 3/4 of a yogurt/fruit cup & coffee. Lunch was home, leftover grilled sirloin burger w/ watermelon, sipping now on a venti mocha light frapp and dinner will be homemade lasagna w/ a ghiradelli brownie for dessert. I better add some veggies in that lasagna! OY! Cals should come out to 1850-1900.

I'm doing much better today, at 675 calories and 5g net carbs and I still have time to eat again.

B- Frosty protein shake
L- 1/3 lb hamburger, small salad
D- I made green bean salad- I might just eat the whole batch! (it's 650 calories) and some kind of meat
Later- we still have some Blue Bunny Sugar Freedom butter pecan ice cream

I still need 1363 calories- so I'm thinking I can make it with dinner & ice cream

Oh, for SURE on the skinnylicious menu at cheesecake factory... and they have 1 flavor of sugar free (low carb) cheesecake-- it's vanilla, but served with strawberries, and is really very very good. I usually get extra to have for breakfast

Update-- lunch was a sushi "boat" from the grocery store

D: changed to grilled porkchops (need to rub them) and grilled asparagus. I'm going to eat a whole BUNCH and I don't CARE!

the cobbler is made-- I tweaked the recipe (from cookillustrated) to be 1/2 sugar (used palm sugar) and 1/2 splenda, and the biscuits are LC package that I wanted ot use up (and geez, I still have some left!!! this stuff won't go away). Did I mention I grew the rhubarb myself? but my strawberries aren't remotely ready yet (and even when they are, the rabbits and/or birds get them first anyway)...

I put a pic on my FB, wonder if I can import it here (eta: yes, yes I can ) -- those have cinnamon/truvia sprinkled on top)

S: chobani yogurt
D: leftover penne a la vodka

Right now I'm eating Rita's Italian ice. The only thing I like about the spring time.

Well, I made it to 1646; I ended up 392 short. That's a deficit of 19.6%
and I wasn't sure if that was high enough for an UD or not. I started a
thread to ask about that here. I'm sorry- I just don't remember all of
the details...

The Skinnylicious chicken salad sandwich and side salad were delicious! Amazing at 590 calories. It enabled me to have bread and butter, a cocktail, and 1/2ish piece of amazing cheesecake. Happy!
