Does my salad sound ok?
This is how I like my salad, just wanted to get opinions to see if this sounds ok?
1 cup lettuce (usually romaine, iceburg, or spinach)
14 slices pepperoni (one serving)
1/4 to 1/3 cup shredded mexican blend cheese
1-2 tbsp ken's steakhouse ranch dressing
Another salad I like (but haven't eaten since low carbing) is:
blue cheese crumbles
few slices red onion
1/3 can sliced mandarin oranges (drained)
I haven't been eating this salad because of the canned mandarin oranges. I'm not eating fruit yet, I've been plateaued for a while now. Does the first one sound ok for phase 2? Maybe I could try the second one in phase 3...

WOE: Atkins - it's a diet
I would add other vegetables and cut out some of the cheese.
You can have cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, swiss chard, radishes, scallions, parsley, radicchio, and a whole bunch of others.
What plan are you following? Atkins induction allows a lot of vegetables besides just lettuce but cheese is limited to 4oz

you can get something like the flavors in your mandarin orange salad by getting some tangerine flavoring and making a sweet vinegar and oil dressing with a couple drops of the flavoring.
I have tangerine essential oil for that use. orange is easier to find and equally good! grapefruit is available too, for those into that flavor.

When you say Phase 2, do you mean Atkins, South Beach or HCG? lol a little confusing because they all have Phase 2
