Ut Oh
So I put what I was eating down earlier and found myself quite hungry after lunch. So I'm sitting here eating celery and raw brocolli dipped in zesty italian dressing when it dawn on me to add it to my calorie/carby tracking program. I'm now at net 33 carbs! Oh man, I hope this doesn't screw things up for me now!

It will only screw things up if you let it. Stay on course and, if you feel snacky/cravy, eat fat. Get yourself well satiated. Thirty-three grams of carbs is not enough to kick most people out if ketosis and, with the fiber involved in the snack, isn't likely to spike your blood sugar either.
Right now, your biggest enemy is your brain tricking you into failure. Don't let it! |

It all went down hill by the time I got home due to the tremendous stress I am under. While they were approved foods, I overdid it and ended up at 58 net carbs. Luckily the scale didn't reflect it.
I will be more conscience goinng forward and I am going to look into getting coconut oil. I'm throwing out the unsweetend shredded coconut I got to make a dish with as I keep getting into it every night lately. It has a lot of carbs in it. 11 net carbs per ounce!

I'm sorry but your post made me chuckle.
I mean, how many people would consider celery and broccoli as diet busters? LOL....we LC types can be a little crazy sometimes. Believe me, I speak from personal experience. Good luck on reaching your goal.

From what you are describing the carb count sounds way too high-I got a little suspicious with your description of unsweetened coconut- are you subtracting the fiber count from the total carb count as many of us do or are you a believer in total carb count without that subtraction? I for one cannot limit carbs to only total without that subtraction or that leaves me feeling like I never ate at all

The thing I should have gone without were the 2 oz of almonds. I should know better. They seem to spike my hunger for some reason.
