Birthday Party/BBQ

So tomorrow we are celebrating my son's 6th Birthday by throwing a Birthday bash for him.

I am already trying to figure out what I can have to stay on track. I figured the following:

Cheeseburger minus the bun
Deviled eggs
I'm making pasta salad for everyone. I'm going to make myself a side of everything I put in it besides the pasta (brocolli, bell peppers, green and black olives, feta, cherry tomatoes and zesty italian dressing)
Celery sticks dipped in hot wing dip (chicken, l/f cream cheese, light blue cheese dressing and hot sauce)
For dessert I'm going to have either chocolate covered strawberries or I'm going to make the PB and cream cheese balls

I do plan on having a couple of lime vodka and diet tonics.

Sound like an ok plan?

Sounds like a great plan! Good for you for having one!

Myself, I would skip dessert and double up on the alcohol!

the low fat cream cheese.....does it have added sugar to make up for the taste? Is the carb content higher than regular cream cheese?

Low fat cream cheese isn't really cream cheese, it's a different kind of soft cheese, called Neufchâtel. It has a slightly higher carb count, a bit more protein, and about 30% less fat than cream cheese. The total calories are also lower than in cream cheese.

I don't use it, but if someone were counting calories as well as carbs, it might be a good choice.

It was actually light cream cheese. Make a difference? I saw Neufchâtel. But mine said "light cream cheese".
