Frustration with Clinics Closing- that makes 4

Had a great relationship with Medi back in 2010 and got to goal. I've long lost my old login info., but hi guys!

Life happened and I need to restart the program. Both clinics I used are now closed. Made an appointment as a new patient, and then that location closed- apparently over the weekend! So glad I didn't pay the big fee!

I called Corporate and asked about the last location open near me and they said everything was great and nothing was due to close.

I called two minutes later to make an appointment at this last location. Guess what? Practice is no longer Medi WL. and physician is out on his/her own now. No MWL umbrella.

What in the heck is going on ? I really like the program, but now I'm hesitant to start up again with the big enrollment fee. Can this be explained by some shift at Corporate or something (hopefully) temporary?

I can totally relate. I'm now deciding whether to just try to see the doctor who has taken over my old Medi clinic. Not sure what to do!

mediweightloss clinics closing

They charge excessive franchise fees to the clinic owners for one thing. They go through doctors like they were candy.Medi of sarasota fl has been through multiple doctors because if the doctor is unwilling to do something that is unsafe for the client or danderous for the medical license they get rid of the doctor untill they find one that will give the medication to anyone.A new doctor is expected to refill the prescription on a patient he has never seen and was seen by a previous physician years back.Buyer beware since phentermine is not a benign medication.Money is the bottom line with these weightloss clinics that are corporate owned. This also includes Dr.G's weightloss program.Dr. G does not even lay a stethescope on you at an initial visit as well in some Mediweightloss clinics I have been at.This is the future of medicine.
