DD Monday: Menus and plans

Let's embrace the week and start as we mean to go on. Dancing with the one who brought us, let us enjoy all that a DD Monday has to offer us. [Fill in other exhortations.]

DD calorie allowance of 317kcals eaten for a lepin reset programme.

B: slice of egg bake (120 kcals) with 25g of bacon (75kcals), 20g tuna (40kcals) and hot sauce (10kcals): total 245kcals

I have a lavish 72 excess kcals to eat later today. I may have a small serving of mussels.

Today will be busy, so no real planned food. I will likely have broth at lunchtime, but maybe not even that depending on my workload later today. I'll have to come back later to report my intake. So far, I have had coffee w/1 tbsp half and half. I'll be drinking water and a little Diet Coke throughout the day as well.

Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Shooting for a low DD so will hold out on food for as long as possible. Taking my ptero and drinking diet soda now. I brought a liter of ice tea and have broth, if needed. I also have cherry tomatoes and sf jello if I can't hold out. Have a great one!

Good morning JBs!

I am not loving having TOM regularly again. At least, not the PMS. It's worse than I remember. Oh well, onward!

B-protein shake (vanilla whey, 1 cup of almond milk, 5 strawberries) - 190

???????

Can't have a whole lot more, so planning to bite the bullet.

I've come off of an emotionally draining weekend with lots of unplanned eating and a huge gain.

Back in the saddle ...

1. boiled potato in broth with 50g-0% plain yogurt for topping
2. steamed sweet potato

tea with 10% cream
crystal light

((Karen))

My weekend was a tough one, too, so I feel for you, and also know you can forget it and move on. Think to yourself how much of your gain might be due to sodium, and be gone quickly.

At 11:00 a.m. I'm having my fav smoothie:

3/4 cup S O unsweetened coconut milk
4 frozen cherries
1/8 cup frozen wild blueberries
1 slice frozen peach
1/2 scoop Jay Robb chocolate protein powder

for 130 calories

I take one of the children to an appt right after school, so we'll stop by Wendy's and I'll have an half apple pecan chicken salad. (My online calorie counter and Wendy's differ, so I'll go with theirs - 340 )

Supper will be either half a sweet potato with a teaspoon coconut oil for 120 calories OR oatmeal with CO for the same calories, whichever appeals.

590 calories

Thinking of having a salad w/homemade dressing for dinner. I can add a boiled egg and some deli turkey if I don't eat anything between now and then. Still only the shake this morning so far.

Karen, I do hope you are okay.

I did not have my broth at lunch - no time. I have had about 1 cup of popcorn earlier, plus my coffee. This brings me to about 170 or so calories. I doubt I'll eat anything else tonight. Just did my exercise, and doing laundry now. Monday is the easiest day for me to have a DD it seems.

I made myself a huge salad and I can't finish it. It was too much salad for the amount of dressing I could use. I hope I feel better tomorrow. Still feeling yucky from supplement I took this a.m.

It is not really a shake, more like a drink I shake up, so maybe I exagerated. It is a branched chain amino acid supplement I take while weight training and when trying to lose weight it is supposed to preserve muscle mass. Plus it is a lemon lime sour flavor so it is nice to sip on during DD's to get past some hunger issues and hopefully it is preserving some muscle.

Mike

Evening all!

Ugh, having a TOUGH day today after binging all weekend. Despite best intentions, 3 UUAADs while on vacation. Oh well, just making it tough getting back into things today.
B: coffee
L: lean cuisine (150)
S: chicken broth and 2 magic pops (50)
D: 2 Hebrew national LF hot dogs on low cal wheat bread, sugar free bread n butter pickles, sautéed broccoli slaw w/Tonys seasoning, green salad w/ WF dressing = about 200 cal I think
S: skinny cow wafer bar thingy 100

Right at 500 and STARVING! Think I'll just go to sleep early.

Delightful to read. I've been reading so much conflicting information about nutrition science recently that it's far too easy to be distracted. JUDDD is indeed our best and reliable partner.

Yesterday was very odd. It must happen like this all the time but I've never been so aware of people carrying confectionery and baked items or eating them on the train/Tube.

I think your regular menus are admirable and such a sensible way of always knowing what you're due to eat and enjoy. It must minimise dithering and choices.

I had a rotten day yesterday due to my own mistake in taking something I shouldn't. As a result, I kept nibbling on different things trying to make myself feel better. Down to same weight as day before yesterday plus .2...steadily gaining back from my lowest of 181.2 to 181.6, with a loss of only 1.2 from my lowest last month.

I am trying my first potato hack today. Breakfast was mixed-color small potatoes (red, gold and purple) baked in chicken broth -- eaten with onion powder, salt and 1 TB of ff sour cream. Lunch was more of the same taters, no sour cream. Dinner will probably be potatoes baked crispy with salt and rosemary. Feeling satisfied and not hungry at all. Hope to see some great results -- but this is really just an experiment at this stage.
