Atkins 72, Induction Phase Friendly Canned Salmon Recipes?

Hi! I am new here. Today, is my first day of Atkins 72, Induction. I have never tried any version of Atkins before. My book should be coming in a few days. So, in the mean time, I am winging it. I have some canned salmon in my cupboard. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

hi, char. this would depend a lot on your personal taste of course! canned salmon can be strong for some people...

I would like salmon salad made like tuna salad, with mayonnaise and some seasonings. I have sugar free pickle relish (for the future order from Netrition if the idea seems appealing) that would be great. otherwise, maybe some chopped celery in it? if you have the vegetable allowance left, you could dip some of it with celery, that would be good.

have fun!

Thank you both, so much! I think I am going to make salmon patties tonight. Using salmon vs tuna for salad will make a great lunch. I wish you both luck on your journey.

I just flake my salmon, throw an egg in, mix it all together, make it into patties and fry in olive oil. Make sure all of the water is out and pat it dry with paper towels or its hard to form a patty.

Good Luck !

Thank you Dottie. That would be a good way to mix it up.
