Lots and LOTS of great information on this thread... read those first few entries, and it'll give you practically everything there is to know I think!

I'm not sure our thread intro qualifies as a nuts and bolts of NK description.
This thread is a pretty good overview: http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/nu...l-ketosis.html It is based on the Performance book and the formulas he uses are from the Performance book. The Living book uses a different much simpler method for calculating protein requirements. (reference_weight/2.2) x 1.5 to 2.0. For me...(170/2.2)*1.5 |
