Fat Fasts as Fast Days?

I just watched that show about fasting on PBS.

Now I'm wondering, has anyone has tried doing "fat fasts" as the "Fast Days" for alternate day, or any other form of intermittent-days Fasting (ie, JUDD or 5-2 or etc)?

I'm pondering whether to try something like that. Does anyone have any ideas as to whether it might work well or poorly?

Start Date: Started this Whacky Journey in October of 2012
JUDDD and 5:2 only care about calories on the fasting/down days. If you wanted to eat high fat on those days that's fine, but usually higher fat means higher calories. With 5:2 fasting days are 500 calories and with JUDDD it's based on a calculation, but usually in the 300-500 calorie range. An alternative might be to do an egg and meat fast, with lean meats on your fasting days.
~Sara~ I've gone from size 14 jeans, down to a size 4 with JUDDD/5:2IF! Now in maintenance with 16:8IF and the occasional potato hack. My 3 year maintenance anniversary is in April

October 2015 Blood Work Results
-Total Cholesterol 167: HDL 69 LDL 97
-Cholesterol/HDL Ratio 2.4
no triglycerides number given this time, but blood work this past spring put them at a 49
-Glucose (non-fasting) 87

There was a girl who used to post here who did this -- had three or four fat fast days every month. It worked really well for her.
March - 12 hours | April - 7 hours
Callanetics goal for May: 10 hours

I think I watched that documentary a long time ago. Did they say that eating fat counts as a fast in terms of the health benefits of fasting?
