wednesday workouts

G'moring everyone.
Beautiful day here in Florida. Hope the sun is shining on you as well.
Today is legs and core day.
I'll do squats both with machines and without. I'll work my calves and hamstrings with machines. The core work I do is usually crunches on the incline bench, then back and sides on the padded thingy (don't know what it's called) where you can align the pads at your pelvis and bend down then up and do it for the sides as well.
I'll probably do some ab work on the machine and same with the back. Not too much with the back though because I like to end with some light dead lifts.
Say....what's the difference between 'exercising'....'working out'....and 'training'

Hi,
Combat Shock Plyo tonight, and that ends the program.

In my head, exercising and working out are the same, but training implies there's a goal at the end - a competition or sporting event. Just my thoughts.

It is cold and raining here and so I walked this morning before the weather rolled in. Walked about 1.75 miles. Ran part way around the pond. Hoping to Work up to 4 miles a day with part of that running. I may do some Wii work tonight.

By "run" and "running" I of course mean "nothing graceful,or resembling actual running." I just want to be able to do a 5k by the fall.
