Hi! I'm wondering if anyone is following The Virgin Diet (author JJ Virgin)
Basically it's eliminating the following : gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, corn, sugar and artificial sweeteners.
There's opportunity later in the program to reintroduce items.
Any thoughts? Recipe or menu suggestions? Is this similar to another plan you've been on?
I don't think she has a cookbook out yet, but I did buy the (diet) book.

Except for the eggs, it sounds a lot like a paleo or primal plan. You may get some good ideas from those types of recipes

I have a friend that had all sorts of problems with headaches and bowel issues. She did the diet to the letter, found out that she is sensitive to dairy and gluten, avoids those now and says she has NEVER felt better! My understanding is that it is an elimination diet to find out if any "issues" you may be having are food hypersensitivity related.

When I ate at her house she made sweet potato chips and some type of salad with spinach and ground meat, I think. She had tons of coconut and almond milk on her counter

Would love to hear about your experiences with this food plan!
