How are we all doing with this now? I find it easier than just JUDDD, but the loses are not as fast - which is fine with me!

I'm up 5 lbs. from my 143 on Fri., after 3 days of over eating during Easter weekend.

My immediate recovery plan for the next two weeks before going on vacation, is to do Phase 1 of South Beach & 4:3.

I'll be doing 5:2 for maintenance, after I reach my goal weight.

I'm up nearly 3 pounds from Saturday morning, but I had a relatively controlled (at least by calories) Easter, so I'm thinking it's mostly water retention from travelling and salty, carby Easter debauchery. I'm not concerned. It'll come back down.

The calm is still evolving. JUDDD and now 5:2 have not EVER failed me, so I have learned (am still learning) to put my trust in them. This month's experiment involves not logging my daily weight in that thread. I'll still weigh daily, but I figure that may be a stepping stone to allow for even less stress if I can ever allow myself to go a week or so without weighing. It's all a process.

I don't know what's more difficult...trusting the process or ourselves.

BTW: You're looking really nice and slender in the new family photo! Looks like even more inches are melting off of you while your in maintenance and doing zumba.

Aw, thanks! I feel really good about my size except for my tummy. Grrr. I wish there was a way to spot-reduce! I feel like if I lose much more the rest of me will be too small, but I'll STILL have that dreaded belly. It may be time to invest in some spanx! Corsets? Girdles? Do they still make girdles? Okay, I'm totally off topic now and heading to Google land!

BTW, DH is down about 115 pounds now. He makes me feel tiny which is saying something since I'm 5'9"! He's 6'3" but looks taller to me, especially as he's slimming down.

After eating an entire pizza on Saturday, and having a generous ud yesterday, I was happy to see the scale only up a bit today, at 135.5, which is .5 above my ideal maintenance range. I'm doing an 800ish calorie md today, so hoping to see some of it dissapear tomorrow!

Not quite 5 months. It was early November. He's a rock star!

Keira is just that tall. She's 8, going on 18! She's the tallest girl in her class, and there's only one boy taller. She often gets mistaken for a 5th grader, and she's only in 2nd grade!

My md yesterday got derailed due to my mil dropping off a dozen krispy kreme donuts I did only eat one and it was a 900ish calorie md. This morning I'm back at 134, so in the zone again

Of my 2.8 pounds from Sunday, I'm down 1.6 this morning, AFTER an UD. This is the reason for the calm.

Hi all - sorry to have been MIA lately. My son was visiting from CA over the Easter holiday and work has me insane! Hoping to get in a few good DD's this week (yesterday's was a disaster)

Sweet photo Dawn! Pretty blouse color for you both! Didn't you mention your daughter being a 2nd grader in an earlier post? I agree 2nd grade rocks! My favorite grade to teach was 2nd. Love that age.

Aw thanks everyone. I'm playing with pictures (just finally got on photobucket), so who knows how many times I'm going to change my avatar before one sticks for a while.

2nd grade really is a fun age. We're taking her with us on our Mexican cruise in July and I think she'll have a ton of fun, and she's old enough to make some real lasting memories.

Hi everyone. Dawn I love the new photos, especially you pink ladies. Wow DH is doing so well. How much real food can he eat now?

I had my 'Easter dinner' this evening so may see a nasty number on the scales to tomorrow. But I can handle it.

We have company until Friday so that will be my next DD.
