Coconut Oil?

I've noticed a lot of people posting about this oil on dds and while I know the benefits of it...I'm afraid to to use it on dds because of the added cals...do you not count them? Or do the benefits outweigh the calories? Just curious.....

Some people don't have to count them and others do. I have to count them or I stall. YMMV. It's a yummy, healthy oil though.

JUDDD got me where I want to be!

I didn't count them, but now I do. I use it in my coffee on DDs. I find that it helps me go longer before I'm hungry on my DDs so, IMO, worth it.

I tried not counting it a stalled completely- may actually have gained a bit. I stopped using it altogether. To me it was not worth the calories.

I didn't count it on DDs as long as I had it in coffee first thing, and didn't have anything else for 3 or 4 hours. I stopped doing that because I wasn't really enjoying it, and switched back to HWC, which I do enjoy! But I always count those calories, even though I think the principle would be the same, that fat doesn't cause an insulin response and so doesn't really break the fast. You may just have to try and see what works for you.
