Help! Will I ever lose this weight?

Ok, so I've been on the plan for a luxurious 5 nights/6 days and I don't know if I should expect to have lost anything but I haven't. So I guess my questions is, how long did it take you to lose weight once you started atkins? I've been a good girl coming in at 12-15 net carbs per day. I did this awhile back but I totally forgot what worked and what didn't. Help!!!

Stats: lost 130 lb so far, and miles to go before I sleep

were you low carbing before? sometimes when people have been on low calorie diets, or just really watching what they eat, they are inadvertently low carbing... this means when you go to Atkins, you don't have that initial weight loss high carb eaters get.

if you have been eating a lot of carbs before this, that is a puzzler. you really "should" have lost at least a couple pounds, even though our bodies are all different, obviously.

can you give some details about age, height and weight, and some idea what you were eating before?

good luck!

Stats: Lost 50+ lbs, gained it back, starting again...
WOE: lower carb/low-glycemic w/portion control

Don't give up. Sometimes it takes awhile. I'm one of those that never gets that big whoosh of weight loss, but I do come on down if I stick with it. When I was doing strict Atkins, if I ate too few calories, my weight loss stalled. 5-6 days isn't really very long, many people get their bigger losses in the 2nd week. Hang in there!
Current weight 228, down 56 pounds since 9/1/14 the-start.
2nd goal - get to 219 by Christmas
[img]3rd goal - get to Onederland by Valentine's Day!!
Make a lifestyle/eating change forever
Down 56 pounds after starting back 9/1/14
