Bathroom problems

Hi everyone.

I've been on induction for 3 weeks now and have lost 17lbs. However, everytime I eat fat I have the opposite problem of constipation and it bothers my stomach. I know eating fat is important with this type of plan but do you have any suggestions of what I can do to stop this problem.

I'm not sure how to prevent this, but do make sure you drink plenty because loose stools can dehydrate you. Great loss btw, well done!

Maybe eat some high fiber veggies with the fat to bulk up the stool ... may work.

Do you have your gallbladder? Sometimes those without a gallbladder have trouble with high fat consumption.

Yes good point, that could help. Some foods have a constipating effect too, famously eggs

Eating too much protein and not enough fat can cause diarrhoea, I know you said it happens when you eat fat but just checking this couldn't be the issue?

Also, just browsed some related threads here and one user recommended taking bioflavonoids for this problem

What do you mean when you say every time you eat fat? Do you mean pure fat snacks like fat bombs? Or just a lot of butter with a veggie?

When you eat something high fat how does it sit with you? Like a lump sort of high up or even mild heartburn?

Does all fat do that to you? What fat specifically gave you this sort of reaction?
