Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories :

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
6 ounces tilapia
1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
4 each cabbage leaves
Dressing
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon half and half
1/2 teaspoon wasabi paste (more or less to taste)
1 teaspoon vinegar
Slaw
2 1/2 cups shredded cabbage
1/4 cup cilantro -- optional

Mix the mayonnaise, half and half, wasabi paste and vinegar and toss with the shredded cabbage and cilantro(if using) and then set aside at room temperature for 15 minutes while you prepare the rest. (Can be done a day in advance and refrigerated. The slaw will be more wilted).
Steam the cabbage leaves by wrapping them in damp paper towels and microwaving for 45 seconds. Leave in the microwave to complete the steaming while you cook the fish.
Salt and pepper the fish well.
Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet and pan fry the fish for about 4 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked through.
Assemble: On each cabbage leaf place an equal amount of cooked tilapia and top with the slaw.
Optioinal: sprinkle with pepper vinegar or a squeeze of lime juice.

Oops no -that's 9 for 3 tacos (only the cabbage has carbs and it's very fiberous so about 5 net grams).
Fixed it, thanks lol.

I had tried them with romaine and it was not right. Then raw cabbage and it was too crunchy and, well, cabbagy ( ). But steamed until they're just soft worked great
