Costco's newest member...ME!

On my first trip I bought Rack of Lamb, steak and cheese. The meats are excellent! There are just two of us and EVERYTHING is supersized. I don't have endless storage space for huge quantities of paper goods and wonder if I'm better off at Target....

Please share what LC goodies I should be looking for.....by the way.....I was given a free membership before you ask why I joined if I thought it might not work for the two of us

They did have the Nutiva brand coconut oil which was pretty impressive!

Meats, fish, cheese, cream, sour cream, nuts (especially macadamias), eggs, spices, coconut oil, olive oil, books, movies, clothes, stamps, etc.

My Costco has recently started carrying packages of their roast chicken meat - either boned breast meat or legs and thighs.
We just bought a new microwave at Costco last weekend as ours died in a flash of glory.
Costco is my favorite store!

I buy lots of stuff at Costco. Meat, cheese, eggs, nuts, butter and bacon. I also buy lots of green salad ingredients such as baby kale, spring mix, spinach, cucumbers, tomatoes, olive oil and avocados. Oh did I mention bacon...lol.

I find their produce moves fast so it is usually fresh and with the huge bags of greens I always share some with friends and neighbors.

There are only two of us at home so if I buy a large piece of meat, such as a brisket or pork shoulder I portion it our and freeze parts or cook it all and then freeze. I find this helps me with portion control.

An item I just recently started to buy is the grilled chicken tenderloins. I usually stay away from precooked products but I have found they are great in a pinch in a salad or veggie stir fry and again I can control the portion. Yep...portion control is a huge problem for me so I use anything that helps.

Eggs, bacon, cheese, Kerry Gold butter and organic grass fed ground beef!
Bacon and cheese freeze nicely.
Produce can be difficult because it often spoils before we can eat it!
Oh and I forgot the macadamia nuts!

I love their giant vats of artichoke hearts. They also have big bags of almonds, and sometimes macadamia nuts. Also mascarpone cheese and jalapeno dip. They have competitive prices on supplements, too. I can't say enough good things about Costco.

Almond butter, avocados, HWC, eggs, asparagus, frozen blueberries, Fage, meat packs, butter, dog food and treats, coffee, cream cheese. It's easy to stock up so then you are never pressed to make difficult decisions on what to eat and I freeze what I can. The price of avocados especially Costco beat all the other stores I've compared prices. I love the Horizon HWC they sell, it is the only brand I will buy now so I will pay any price for that. Happy shopping!!

And I almost forgot my favorite thing of all: Johnny's seasoning! My BF wouldn't eat veggies without it.

Daisy sour cream (our favorite), shredded cheese (really any cheese), eggs, jalapeno artichoke dip (staple in our house), spinach artichoke dip, meat, coconut oil, olive oil, wine, those salami/prosciutto/mozzarella roll-ups, shrimp, bacon...

My hubby gets Muscle Milk, Naked juice, tortilla chips, snack stuff

It's only my husband and me, but we still buy a lot of stuff there. We tend to go through a lot of the basics listed above. We don't buy any fresh produce because we could never finish it, but anything you can freeze is awesome!

I love their sample days!

I love, love, love Costco! I buy chicken, mahi mahi, trout, salmon, roasts, rib eyes, lamb, kerrygold butter, hwc, and even bought duck last time I went. It's my dream store.

I Costco! I wish it wasn't so far away though. I either have to drive to Denver or way past Vail to get to one, and it's not worth the gas or headache with 3 kids in the car to go there very often.

WOW! I have been meaning to renewing our membership, just haven't gotten around to it. Clearly, I NEED to get on that ASAP! Thanks for the reminder, guys!

With Baseball season upon us, we will spend a LOT of time at the ballpark. Son plays for his High School and it's non stop. It will be super handy to have all the items mentioned in this thread on hand for after games. This way we will have less of a reason to be lazy and go out to eat after games...spending money we don't need to!

My husband LOVES their artichoke hearts. He swears they are 10 times better than the ones at Sams or the grocery store.

I get magnesium supplements at Costco, and a lot of the same things as everyone else:
Meat
Cheese - my hubby loves the blue cheese, and I have a sharp cheddar that I love.
Eggs - every trip!
Sour Cream
Heavy Cream (it is organic at my Costco)
Butter
Veggies
Berries
Coffee beans for DH

If you eat flax, they have golden flax meal cheap. (in the cereal aisle)

You better call before you drive all that way!
I have never heard of Costco doing that.
I know Sam's Club did for a while.

If your "oh wow thanks" is due to my response, please notice that I said that my Costco does NOT carry almond flour.

I have heard that Costco will let you shop once, but that you pay an additional 5% without the membership. I don't know how accurate that info is, though.

My Costco recently started carrying a bunch of Bob's Redmill stuff. I don't know about almond flour though. I have a supply laid in from Trader Joe's so I didn't look.

I Costco. I am going tomorrow morning.
