I sprinkled them on top of my salad dressing. I don't eat them currently. My ex puts them in his protein shake, I think.

Yeah, you can use your old pantyhose and fill it with dirt, then make a paste with chia seeds and water on top. Add some googley eyes and name him Herman. In a few days, you can style him up! And in all that time, you won't be eating poorly!

I've used them in my green smoothies.

I've been meaning to try in overnight oats too.

I use them in a hot cereal I've recently started making that also has ground flax meal in it....makes a really good substitute for something like Wheatina cereal, which I can't eat anymore because I have Celiac Disease.

I keep an old salt shaker with ground chia on my table and sprinkle them on my food like pepper. It's an effortless, tasteless way to get some in my diet everyday.

Shouldn't matter nutrition-wise... if you're making something like the chia pudding, or trying to add them to foods without freaking people out, you might want to get white. If you want to use them like poppy seeds, get black. They don't taste any different.

I use them to make chocolate chia pudding. Tastes great, and my blood glucose readings are always good after eating it, too.

This is a really good thread.

Soobee told me you can grind them up in meatloaf for moistness and it works.

I only put them in my drinks. I like how they get a little gooey, crunchy after they sit. You shake them up (I like them in flavored water bottles). It kind of reminds me of strawberry seeds.
