Good morning all...prayers going out to all our ailing friends and those on the road...Doris should be having fair weather for her final leg into Tejas as it's quite beautiful here.we're looking at 90 degrees. I'm also sure Doug's garden will be springing up more luscious goodies quicker.

Guess I'll be heading to the casino today as they do a "splash the pot" today. They put $50 into the pot every hour which makes for some nice winnings if you connect....one day I took three splashes in a row and felt very lucky that day. It's also a DD so I like to stay out of the house whenever I can.

I proved it to myself, again, the carbs are not my friend for weight loss even if I can eat whatever I want on JUDDD up days...had three slices of French Bread yesterday and a few gummie candies and the weight popped up three pounds. I know, I know, it's not weight gain it's most likely just water, but if I didn't know better I'd be totally discouraged...but three freeking pounds for three slices of bread. I'll learn one of these days, I can't handle that many carbs in one day...still thinking of induction for a couple of weeks to get the bod straightened out.

Hope you all have a great day whatever your plans.. hugs to all and keeping one for myself

Good morning. At least I'm awake and have had my 2 eggs and coffee. Thanks Linda for starting us. You're picture made me laugh. She is quite a little warrior LOL.

Anne just think of yourself as Jamie Lee Curtis. When I go in to have my haircut that's what I tell them on how I want to look like. Works like a charm.

Not sure what's happening today but I know it will be nice and sunny. The last couple of day's have been in the 80's. We have some fog now but should be gone before noon.

My DIL just called to let us know her new job will be starting on the 25th. She has been trained as a physic tech and will be working in a State mental hospital not far from where they live. There will be some real bad guys in that place but she's trained to deal. She's been waiting a long time for this job. It was a hard one to get into.

I wonder how far Doris and hubby got yesterday? BBL.

Going to be in the middle 90's the next few days. The garden will love it.

Not much else going on around here.

Just sticking a toe in -

Was hoping to see how Louise is, and if Ginny had checked in.

Take care of yourselves,
