L- Glutamine

I have been taking L- Glutamine 1500mg a day and I am on week 9. The start of week 9 I have become hungry and I don't like that feeling. How much of L- Glutamine can I take? This week I have taken a total of 3000mg. I haven't noticed any change yet. Please help.

Week 9 of what--Atkins or taking l-glutamine?

You can take quite a bit of l-glutamine per day, but if you're taking pills, it can be difficult to get enough for appetite suppression.

I get 2-lb jugs of loose powder (Iron Tek brand) and put 1tsp (5g/5000mg) in my water bottle 3-5 times per day.

Although you might want to increase your dosage slowly, I've never felt any unpleasant side effects from taking this much.
