Exercise for one hour, raking leafs, 203

My chart doesn't show shoveling ice! So took the raking leafs for on hour.
Seems it should read burning 2,000 calories. We have drifts of ice 4 inches deep. No snow. Suppose to be sunny day, but only 39 high temp.
Shoveling ice brought me very TIRED, but was fun! I guess, smile

Maybe compare it to moderate weight lifting instead. Seems closer in effort.

Yah. Raking leaves ≠ shoveling snow!! But, hey, you're building strength, stamina and muscle tone while burning however many calories, so roll with it.

Start Date: Low calorie 6/12 ; Low carb 9/12/ ; JUDDD 11/13/12
On livestrong it says about 200 calories per 1/2 hour for shovelling snow. Based on a person weighing about 140 lbs. So you burned off 400!

Yeah, leaves are very light compared to ice. 4 feet of leaves is much easier to rake than 4 feet of ice! I hope you took a nice long hot shower or bath.
