Does any one else. . .

Now let me preface this by saying, as far as I know, I am NOT OCD.

When I weigh, I wait until after a trip to the potty, but before I bath or put on lotion. (The extra moisture probably weighs something.) NO jewelry, even put on contacts rather than wear glasses - ounces of difference between the two. . . I would weigh without corrective lenses at all if I could see the scale!

There are actually more rituals I go through, but you might think I'm strange if I shared them all. Does anyone else want to share? Come on, It will definitely make me feel better to know I'm not the only one.

I brush my hair because the few strands that come out must weigh something! I feel almost as silly posting this as I do when I brush before weighing.

I hadn't thought about the glasses/contact thing though, lol.

hehe that is too funny, I've got long hair too and I've sometimes wondered how much it weighs.

LOL! I thought I was the only one with a morning weight ritual! I only weigh first thing in the morning and I do it naked to ensure consistency. I also tend to weigh myself a few times as my scale has occasional fluctuations. I wish I could limit myself to once a week but I am way too obsessed with the number for that!

I absolutely have to go to the bathroom first, take off all my clothes, and also take out my ponytail scrunchie! I also get off and on a few times to make sure the first time wasn't a fluke - or a mistake depending on what it says. Last, but not least, once I even cut my nails hoping for a loss!

My scale is in my garage and there is a window in which I am visible to a neighbor, so there is never nekkid weighing.

I weigh before and after the shower, and take the lowest weight!!!

I average between three weights.

My first weigh in happens after I pee, remove my hair band and change from pjs to shorts and a t-shirt. I've started weighing on the Wii board, because it gives me the closest weight to the doctor's office scale. Unfortunately, my living room (where the Wii is) has a huge picture window, so - no nekkid weighing for me. I always make sure the Wii board is placed in precisely the same place (lined up with pattern markings on the floor.)

Then I do however much Wii Fit-ing I have time for (between 10 and 30 minutes) by now... other things are ... moving - so I go take care of that, then come back and weigh again.

Finally, I shower, dry my hair, put on a very light robe, and weigh for the final time.
