I am struggling...

Been at my goal for almost a year and I am just really struggling lately.

I am part of a weight loss group, so it helps for me to have the weekly accountability.
I was 5 lbs below my goal weight, and now I am just 1/2 lb below it. It is good I gave myself some wiggle room and am able to get it under control before it gets out of hand.

I feel like it is just hard in the winter. I don't want to move. I just want to sleep!

Anyone else struggling this winter?

I'm feeling the same way. I'm just trying to care right now. One part of me thinks-just don't worry about it. Yummy foods is what I enjoy. That'll get me through this miserable winter-
Then there's that part of me that says-don't give up now. Look how hard you've worked to get to this point. Do you want to have to start over?-

I'm now trying to lose a few lbs to get back to goal but also to lose a few
more than that for wiggle room. I just have to keep 'caring'.

Have you read the new atkins book? The Atkins diet for a new you? If not you should read it cover to cover. It does an excellent job of explaining the maintenance plan. There is this concept in it called the ACE, and it is really important it you want to maintain your weight long term without having to worry.

~Sara~ I've gone from size 14 jeans, down to a size 4 with JUDDD/5:2IF! Now in maintenance for almost 3 years with 16:8IF and the occasional potato hack.

October 2015 Blood Work Results
Total Cholesterol 167: HDL 69 LDL 97 Cholesterol/HDL Ratio 2.4
Glucose (non-fasting) 87
Blood pressure 103/66
*no triglycerides number given this time, but blood work this past spring put them in the 40s

I am at goal and go up and down 3 to 5 pounds all the time. Feel more comfortable when I am down to my goal but when I go up a few pounds I know I need to work a little harder. It's all good.
