Papa Johns Wings?

We are ordering papa johns pizza to eat while watching the Super Bowl tonight. Of course, I won't be eating the pizza; however I am considering getting some wings to munch on. I could either get the buffalo wings or the sauceless wings and make my own sauce at home (franks and butter). Thoughts? I am almost finished with week two of induction and doing well...I certainly don't want to mess up now!

The papa john's wings might have added sugar in them, it is probably better to do your own wings at home, that way you have control over the ingredients and carbs.

I went to the website and under the nutritional information it has:

For 2 wings, the spicy buffalo wings have 3 grams of carbs, the BBQ wings have 6 carbs, the Honey Chipolte wings have 8 carbs, the chicken poppers (breaded bite size chicken) for 2 they have 4 carbs and there was no information on the unsauced wings.

*Frozen Tyson wings are only 1 carb per serving. They are 4.99 in my town right now and 15-17 are in the bag

* You could settle for "Hot Legs" and sautee some drumsticks in Franks Red hot and butter. (Equal parts or to your heat liking) The original recipe for buffalo sauce is just Franks red hot and butter.

*There is 1 gram of sugar and 3 carbs total in a serving of wings. A serving is 2 wings. Much higher for BBQ I don't know what their ranch is.

Stick to Tyson or homemade!

I get Papa John's unsauced or mild wings and don't have much problem with them.

I would order a pizza, no sauce (their sauce tastes really sugary to me) and eat the toppings.
