the procedure went well yesterday and my colon is fine...lol

my weight on the other hand is a disappointment this morning, 246 lbs ??? i think stress affects my body...
anyway this is where i'm at and those are the numbers that i will be hacking away at this month

Dang, I have lost 7.5 lbs in one week!!

Walked 30 minutes last night, increased my speed to 3.0 mph. Hubby was on a nibble binge last night, liked to drove me crazy. I kept going in and looking at the pantry, knowing there was nothing in there for me to eat. I finally told him to stop and went and worked on my afghan. Dang husbands anyway.

So, my February goal is going to be 191. That's a total of 16 lbs for the month or 4 pounds a week....very doable for my first month. I usually slow down going into my second month, more like 2-2.5 lbs a week. Getting excited at the thought of getting there Also, to be walking for an hour by the end of the month

Today's menu:

B: bacon
L: salad with dressing
D: Ryan's, so probably steak and green beans, maybe a small salad

Good morning everyone!!!

Well, I was down only one pound from my weight at Jan. 3. -- which is not what I'd have preferred, but that's OK... I'm wearing size 6 in just about all clothes, and feeling good! Make that great! Ate out the past two nights and my feet are swollen, so that may have something to do with it...going skiing tomorrow...back on sunday for a pre-superbowl chili cookoff gig!!! Yummy!

First started Atkins April 1, 2002.
Lost 40 pounds back then and maintained for almost 8 years...then carb creep crept. I've always been low carb, but went hard core again in March 2012.
Hey! You don't have to drink all that water!

Saw my January goal last Monday (110), but bounced back to my plateau of 111.5 the next day and seem to be stuck here. Goal for Feb. 105. There I said it, wrote it down, posted it - now I just need to get there. I was diagnosed with a collapsed disc just over two years ago, which halted my daily 3 mile run, then I sprained my ankle which took FOREVER to heal, but I just started running (o.k. jogging) again last weekend and I'm so happy - the easiest cardio workout ever - and free!!!!

Went shopping with my mom today. I'm broke lol so she did the buying I just looked. I found The cutest top at Jcpenny on clearance for 7.00 and she insisted on buying it for me it's a pea green color which i've never worn, sleeveless and a size Medium! Eekk! I was afraid it would be to small but I tried it on for mom and she Loved it and says it fits perfect for summer! It's pretty form fitting but I guess I can't keep wearing baggy shirts forever Lol

These are my FAVORITE victories! I love when I got to the store and pick out something that is just TOO cute and not only does it FIT, but it is a STEAL!

I don't know my current weight on February 1, but I will try to find somewhere to weigh in tomorrow morning. My goal for the end of February is 210, too unrealistic? Maybe I'll see what my current is so I can set my goal more accurately. I'm only on day 5!

4lb loss in the first 3 days back! I am not necessarily a new member, I went on atkins back in '97, my sophmore year of highschool and lost 90lbs before my senior year. I maintained the weightloss till about '07... Now I am back on the mend, and highly motivated. Glad there is such a friendly bunch of you to help keep us all motivated, something lacking the first time I did it. Cheers!

Hi there- hoping to jump in on this challenge.

Our whole house is getting over the stomach flu and colds and I can't wait together back on plan, good old fashion induction.

I am around 174 right now so hoping for 168 by the end of feb. I am weaning my LO right now so I may still be BF through the month and it is seriously killing my weight loss.

Roasting some chicken thighs and prepping some veg so I am prepared!

Hi all, I hope it's okay if I join ...

I restarted in Jan after taking a hiatus for pregnancy & being busy with a LO and my toddler.
I did very well the first 2 weeks but have lost nothing since then. Last two days I even went off plan.
But I'm back now and hoping to do much better
I look forward to meeting the challenge with all of you!

Count me in for the February Challenge!!
I need some good support and motivation. I'm up 2-3lb since last Sunday and pretty upset about it. Just about to start wk 4, a total loss of 12lbs, now 10lbs. Just curious, how much differences do you ladies see during TOM? It hasn't come yet but I'm thinking within the next 5days or so. I'm thinking and hoping that's why my weight is up.
I've also up'd my calories from 1200 to 1450 after someone suggested the change...maybe why weight is up??

Extra challenge today: going to birthday party of my best friend's son, taking my oldest DD. There will be a delicious homemade birthday cake ... I must be strong. She knows i lc though and will usually add sine snacks like veggie things and nuts ...

Hello everyone! I am new to LowCarb Friends, but not new to Atkins. I have been browsing the forums for a month now, but could never seem to figure out a way to post. Guess I had to check my e-mail to activate my account! lol

Anyway, this is my first post, and I would love to join the February challenge! I've been in induction for a month now, and lost 10 lbs. I've been losing slow and steady, can't seem to lose anymore then a pound and a half a week, but I will take that because I don't have far to go

hi everybody...welcome to all the new people

i'm still retaining water and my weight hasn't changed yet, but i'm focused and i've added a resistance routine for my upper body so i should be seeing the numbers going back down any day now.

Hi all,

I'm new to the site and y'all are so inspiring! I read all of your posts all the time and finally decided to join because I need more inspiration. I want to join the challenge with you! I only lost 3 pounds on induction in the first week, which I know doesn't sound bad, but I've had no loss in three days and actually gained one back. My goal for February is to lose 8 pounds! I will continue in Induction until I see that scale move!! Thank you for all of your great posts!
