Ouestion- faster WL with LC?
I am thinking of starting JUDDD, and will proabably do it also LC, but wanted to know if anyone has done it with and/or without LC'ing it - and does LC make a difference? Thanks

I lost just as much per month once I gave up low carb. For me the carbs did not effect my weightloss.
JUDDD changed my life. It transformed my health, gave me freedom and restored my confidence.
JUDDD is very simple, very livable and very flexible. JUDDD allows weight loss and life to happen simultaneously.

I did not lose on JUDDD following lowcarb. Some of my DD's are LC just due to the nature of the diet but not the UD's.

Start Date: JUDDD 1/1/12 + LCHF 12/1/13 (controlling diabetes)
Lot's of the JUDDD BUDDDs eat LC. Some people (like me) start out LC and gradually raise their carbs to higher levels than strict LC allows.
JUDDD is a format and does not care what you eat - just how many calories are in the food.
JUDDD is also a very gradual way to lose weight. A few BUDDDs are sprinters, but most of us poke along at a pound or two a week.
Sirtuin enzyme production (the basis of JUDDD) is invoked when the body enters ketosis - either my avoiding carbs, or by eating very low cal on DD, or ... there are several other ways to invoke SIRTs without endangering your health (see the potato hack). I suspect each of our bodies has a set level of enzyme production - meaning I am not sure whether eating LC and eating very low cal will speed up your weight loss speed. But, if LC is where you are most comfortable, there is no conflict between LC and JUDDD.

Changed to LCHF after becoming diabetic in 9/13 (Lost 15 more pounds).

I did not "lose" weight. I evicted it. It is gone and it ain't coming back!
JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.
