Making Ouizoid's English Muffins Question

Quick question. After mixing the wet and dry ingredients is the mixture to be like bread dough and pressed in to muffin tops or more pancake like and flow into pan?

Well mine is about the consistency of cookie dough and I patted into the muffin top pan.... we'll see...........
any advice is greatly appreciated!
