DD Wednesday - Happy New Year!

Maybe you're like me and sort of bailed on rotations through the holidays, or maybe you didn't, or something in between

I've been looking forward to this DD for at least a week! I wish I weren't sick sick sick, but at least I'm not overly hungry.

My plan for Wednesday is:

B: tea, vitamins
L: water, tea, chicken broth, etc
D: if I'm hungry, I'll add some chicken and veggies to the broth. Stirfry for DH.

Not sure why this cold is hitting me so hard, but I'm really not riding it well at all... blah.

S.

I did things haphardly in December just trying to get back into full-time JUDDD'ing THIS month.

I don't vary my DD menus much because I need a routine menu. I usually have a couple cups of coffee w/cream, a couple of my beloved YoCheese Puddings and/or a LC version of Blueberry "Cobbler" and maybe some chicken broth.

Been rereading the book and Dr J recommends finding so favourite menus and just sticking with them. Wise words from our leader, lol.

So you are doing it right Nilla.

Yep, was going to say the same thing. I think (and a lot of people say they feel the same) that when you get into a lot of variety and the excitement of the food increases, so does your appetite.

Figure what works for you, and stick with it. It may be boring, but if it works, then that's what's important.

In unrelated news-- I just did 1hr class on the phone, and by the end, I sounded like death so I'm going to hit the hot liquids hard, and not talk the rest of the day. I've had laryngitis before, and 2 weeks without talking really really sucks.

fingers crossed for me folks!

I find the same thing--I do much better when I "keep it simple".

Soren: Hope you get well soon!

I found the MR shakes had worked best for me when I first started JUDDD over the summer. The only problem was with my restart in Dec. since it's been so frigid cold, that I need to exercise 30 min. to warm up my body temp. before having them.

Best part is I'm more motivated than ever to exercise.

Good job ya'll!

I had some extra food (feed a cold?) but I know I'm probably around 700 for the day, and given what I've been eating lately, it's still a DD in comparison.

Next challenge: counting on an UD

See ya'll tomorrow!
