Could Berberine: Glycosolve have a direct impact on blood ketones / NK?

I was just reading JM's latest n=1 update and realized that his blood glucose readings are anywhere between 71 - 94 - and he takes this Supplement - could lowering your blood sugar with medication be directly related ?

Do any of you have blood sugar readings this low but ketones readings over .5?

Just curious, trying to think of an angle here lol

Hi Myles, we have mini discussion on this here...

It is technically a supplement.

are you suggesting that taking the supplement encourages or discourages ketosis? I can't tell.

I don't know that can be said about berberine. It does lower blood glucose which would presumably in turn, would lower insulin response and in turn improve insulin sensitivity. If that is correct, then it should help to release fat stores. Not sure that helps with ketosis. I would think that one would need to be in ketosis to begin with....
