Protein shakes

GNC guy talked me into buy a case of rtd shakes. I went in intending to buy the powder, but he wouldn't let up on how great these shakes are, and how they really control your hunger. I hope I like them...can drink 3 a day on DD's and have room for a little something else, if I want it. He said I could return them for a full refund if I am not satisfied. Meanwhile, he tried to tell me how unhealthy it was to only eat 500 cals a day, lol.

I hope you like them. I love protein, but don't do shakes! Eggs or fish for me. It is interesting how we have our favs and that is what makes the DD doable. And yes, 500 cals would not be healthy, if we weren't bumping up eod.

I tried to explain that to him. I think he got it eventually. I said, "Look! I'm not trying to survive on 500 calories a day! I am eating probably 2000 today, even, and I'll average about 1200-1300 a day. Get it?"

I find shakes to be an awesome supplement. I have used them for years. In the can and the powder. I bring one to work every DD. Sometimes I drink it and sometimes I don't. Depends if I get hungry. Then I have a salad and/or small meal later in the day. And on UD where I want to stay close to my lower end of cals, I will eat two nice size meals and have a shake instead of lunch. That really helps me mentally as I can really enjoy my other meals and not have to count cals on UD.

I like that the nutrition is already in it and I know I'm getting 25 g protein and vitamins, plus L-Glut.

I have used both canned and make ur own potion.
I remember coming home from the gym.
At times, my arms were so fatigue. The bought mixture saved me.

I don't rely on them daily but rtd shakes can be a lifesaver for really hectic days. They're good to keep on hand.

When I started JUDDD, I did only the shakes (mini ones every couple of hours). I got whey protein powder from Costco. Although I find they get really boring FAST lol. I definitely still use them on DD when I am in a hurry and UD after the gym and in smoothies!

Tried my first one today and it didn't take away my hunger much at all. I was hungry again (if I ever stopped being hungry) within 1/2 hour. Just drank a cup of chicken broth and it did about as much as the shake.

Wondering how long before DD's become easy..............10 DD's as of today and counting..........
