Low Carb Flu??
Hi everyone, I'm new here and new to low carbing. I just started 6 days ago. I'm not exactly following Atkins Induction, but pretty darn close. I eat less than 30 carbs per day and mostly only the foods on the list. I've been learning as I go. The past 3 days, I have felt really sick. Mostly headaches and tired. But in the mornings especially, I feel nauseated. This morning was so bad that I actually threw up. I went to work and after eating breakfast and lunch, I started to feel bad again (headache, face was flushed and hot, dizzy, and nauseated). I left work early and now I'm feeling better. I've been reading some things about low carb or induction "flu". Is this real? What causes it? Is there anything I can do to make it better? I am noticing that I need to tweak some of the things I'm eating (was getting a lot of low fat and processed stuff, but not anymore). So that might help. I also have a little bit of diarrhea
