DE and Results from the Dentist Visit

I said I would report back after I had brushed with DE for 6 months and after my next dental appointment. That was today. Now I did not brush everyday and when I did it was ONLY once a day never twice.

My visit was really quick since it did not take the dental hygienist very long to clean my teeth. Not much to remove this time. I used to have a very heavy plaque buildup and she would scrape and scrape and scrape. Not today. She finished the back ones in about one minute. She said let me floss the back ones before I start on the front ones. Wow. That was fast.

Perfect checkup so I will continue to brush at least every other day with DE.
So for me brushing with DE is certainly worth the effort. Then I brush with tooth soap and I am off to face the world.

Adi, are you allowed to describe the brand you're using here? I think PJ mentioned that Red Earth might be too coarse for teeth. I'm still using it once or twice a week on my teeth and loving it.
Congrats on the dentist visit results! (Next on my list of JUDDD groceries is tooth powder. Looking forward to it.)

I use the off white food grade but can't remember the name. Perma something maybe but NOT the Red Lake Earth. I make my own tooth soap and add spearmint essential oil just for a little fragrance since I can't taste it but I have gotten used to the tooth soap and had to use toothpaste over the weekend since I forgot my soap and I did not like the toothpaste at all anymore. Too sweet and seemed really abrasive. Way more than the DE feels.

Okay, you guys are really selling it! I'm going to have to break down and get me some DE soon. That's really great results, Adi. Anything to lessen that awful scrape scrape scrape every 6 months!

PJ - glad to see you! I hope you didn't have a horrible time with Sandy.
