Got my first box of Carbquick yesterday...

...and I made the drop biscuits this morning. Wow - I'm in heaven! It tasted just like a regular delicious biscuit to me! I just made 3, so I ate one and froze the other 2 to keep myself from scarfing them all down at once. It's only 2 net carbs, but still, 90 calories for each tiny biscuit! Luckily there's also 6 grams of protein, so that evens thing out bit.

I can't wait to make more stuff, but I will definitely have to keep in mind that moderation is key. I'm not sure I could have introduced this into my diet early on without having it take over. I feel like I had to first learn to live without carbs before I could start in with the substitutes, if that makes sense.

Note: I don't feel the post carb cravings I normally would after eating a regular biscuit. My feelings of wanting to binge on them had more to do with having something yummy that I hadn't had in a long time.

Just for comparison, the same size Bisquick biscuit (1/3 cup) would be 160 calories, 25 net carbs, and 3 grams of protein.
