Mayo question...

I've been counting calories for so long that the Mayo I have is light. It's 2 carbs per tablespoon. How many carbs are in regular full fat mayo?

I like Mayo and I eat 2 tablespoons with my hamburger patties. Since I like them a lot, I could easily eat 2 a day which is what, 8 carbs just for mayo?

Sigh.

I just bought Hellmans Real Mayo (buy one get one)

0 carbs

1 tablespoon is 90 cals. 90 cals from fat


I use it freely actually. I put alot of mayo in my tuna. weight still coming off

Just what I thought, I'm sabotaging myself.

I need to get some real Mayo. I love the stuff! My husband is a die hard Miracle Whip fan but I LOVE my Mayo on everything!

At the moment I am usinh Heinz classic mayo, which in logs as 1g carb for 20g mayo.

spoilt, if you are doing LC you should be sure that you are getting full fat into that diet.

I see the word lap band for you? Do you have one now? My neighbor got a lap band and she has a 'diet' she needs to follow along with a bunch of pills they gave her.

I do have a Lap Band but the level of adjustment I have on mine allows me to eat anything I want, just a lower quantity. I don't really need any supplements because I'm able to get all my nutrition through eating. I've been counting calories for a while now though so I just happened to have a brand new jar of Light Mayo. It never occurred to me until today that it might be higher in carbs than the full fat version.

oh my neighbor has her 'very tight' for the adjustment and goes back regularly like clockwork to get it tightened when she 'can eat a bit more'. She lost about 120 lbs and is about 40-50 away from her goal. But lately she can't seem to lose. She is eating all the wrong things. even if in little doses if you don't eat correct, you can gain.

Her port moved. 911 at work. emergency surgery to get that port back into place.

scary for her.

She is panicking about the last of the weight. But I told her losing the 120 made a huge diff. to her and how she feels. concentrate on how good you look vs another 40 or so to take off.

I always get Hellmans full fat, 0 carbs!

I bought a costco sized jar and haven't even opened it. I need to start eating tuna with mayo and pickles. Or making devilled eggs. The only thing I've used it on is pork, for a dip.

Mayo- I need to get it back into my life.

Pretty much every single item in the supermarket that says, "Light" or "Low Fat" replaces healthy fats with added sugar. Never a good idea.
