Ground Beef in Crock Pot

Are there any crock pot recipes that use ground beef where you don't have to brown the beef before adding it to the crock pot?

Any time I do that, I preheat the crock on high for 30 minutes (lid on so it gets relatively hot), then add the beef and 1 cup very hot water then break it up (use your hands) so it doesn't clump as it cooks. Then make sure you stir it every 15 minutes for about an hour on high before turning it down.
I make spaghetti sauce, soup and chili that way and it works fine.

Thanks, Dottie. I'm glad to know there is a way to do it. I'll give it a try.
