Oh, no. Not at all. If I was going out this morning, I'd have my 7:00 coffee and my 8:00 egg whites, and then salt my pepper strips, but leave them in the bag.. and salt my cantaloupe, but leave it in the bag (cause it's cut into two long pieces) and I'd just take those baggies of mini-meals with me in my little mini-cooler. Then, if I also run beyond my 11:00 'feeding', I can get a cup of coffee with half and half anywhere. So that takes me until Noon, and my morning running around is usually done by then.

There is no particular order that the little mini-meals need to be consumed, so I just arrange the order in any way I think I'll enjoy it for the day. If you're going to be on the run, baggies of portable stuff in purse or cooler works great. If I were to be at my desk or breakroom at work, I could easily eat some of the messier things, like little bowl of berries in juice.

I like to eat at about the top of each hour, which really prevents me from having any hunger at all on DDs, but often enough I've looked up and noticed it's an hour past that at least, so then I have to double up in order to catch up.

I could also opt to do eight feedings by doubling up on the individual food portions, if that would make it easier.

But this works well for me, both here at home or when I head out to run errands or play. I just shuffle the little portions around so the easier things to take along fill the times I'm going to be away from home. Pretty slick.

I wound up with the above, plus:

S at 4pm: 2oz baby carrots 20 cals
Dessert after dinner: 1 magic pop plus 1/2T sf jam for 20 cals

Then I got cold, so I had about 3c of chicken broth

567 cals total

Well, the hourly mini-meals controlled my appetite so strongly that I couldn't finish some of them. Subtract out the mushroom slices, the tilapia, the tomato wedges, and the oatmeal w/brown sugar. Add in one more Magic Pop with cheese.

447 calories. I'm stuffed.
