What would you do?

Today is my DD.
Tomorrow is my UD...
Making Saturday a DD...

BUT Saturday we're taking the Nephews to a festival, also going out for a friend's birthday to eat and have a few drinks...

Should I...
a) Have two DDs to change the days
b) Have two UDs
C) A different plan?

I would make tomorrow a MD (an average of your UD and DD) then Sat can be an UD and just continue with your rotations. It's not generally recommended to do a MD in the first 2 weeks of your plan and some people find MDs throw them into a stall. I have never had a problem with a MD but I am a sloooooow loser anyway so not sure I could tell. Good luck - this WOE has to work with your WOL in order to work!

WOE: JUDDD/PHD, LC now that my BG is getting weird
Start Date: JUDDD 1/1/12 + LCHF 12/1/13 (controlling diabetes)
You can make tomorrow a MD (DD cals + UD cals / 2) then make Saturday a UD.

After which you can either keep the new rotation or have another MD to transition back.

If you want to experiment with 2 DDs in a row, you can certainly do so. But some of us find 2 DDs to be too stressful. I encourage you to experiment when you can breakdown and eat if you need to.

Me? I would just make both Friday and Saturday be UDs (but try not to over eat) and return to my rotation on DD. Long ago, I decided life happens...so I don't stress, I go with the occasional interruption and just return to rotation asap. (And I just made goal, so - at least for me - this theory works)

I'm going to do my down day as scheduled today, and see how I feel tomorrow. If I can do a DD, that's okay, if I need to do MD then that's fine too. I just don't wanna feel like I've ruined my week!

MD is the best way to go, you don't really want 2 DDs in a row at this stage.

It will only slow down your weight loss a little.

It's so good for me to read questions like this & get answers too! I'm just less than 2 weeks into JUDDD & now I know what to do in a similar situation. The more I learn about this woe, the more I like it!

I don't think I can handle a MD - I'll just end up with another UD I think.

My plan is to do two DD at 25% weight loss mode or less, so 625 calories. I kept it around that today, and tomorrow I'll try for less, but forgive myself if I hit the full 625. I had a frustrating day at work, so that 625 came quicker than expected!!

Then back on track with an UD Saturday. I'll just keep telling myself it's for my nephews. We're gonna have SO much Saturday. And then that evening, maybe I can enjoy some birthday cake with my friends
