Just popping back in to start bak up again...

All righty, some of you may remember me from earlier this year, despite challenges, I lost 20 lbs.... Then midsummer for no apparent reason did a swan dive off the wagon and have gained half back, so am starting again tomorrow. So just wanted to say hello again in an effort to keep myself accountable as I just feel totally gross right now. blech.

Eating while reading is a big problem of mine as about 99% of my serious overeating happens when I combine eating with a good book. Doing JUDDD and confining my eating
to the table with no book in my hand I was doing so well. Then I juess 6 months ago
I started back eating when I was reading. So yesterday is my first real day back after
a 40lb "Belly Flop"

Welcome back, Marianne and E.W. Your posts are a good commitment check for me. This WOE is not a quick fix it and forget it diet. I have to be willing to adapt it as my new WOL or risk losing the benefits.

Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!

I have been avoiding the board like the plague....accountability is a skeeeery thing

But after my stomach actually hurting last night from being SO overfull, a DD seems pretty nice, now, I have to admit. Taking control back doesn't seem so bad either.

Now to just stick to the program. One bite, one meal, one day, one week at a time.

DD went ok yesterday - now for an UD - How weird is it that even though I know this works, and it worked well for me, I already wanted to bring my UD calories down as it just "feels" too high.

Sigh - old habits die hard....a slow, irritating, death.

Back! I'm pretty new too - 3 weeks in - and I love hearing when people who fell off the wagon are getting back on. It makes me realize that if/when I mess up, I can just start over. Good luck!
