I blew a DD!
I ended up yesterday caving in and having drinks with my best friend that I haven't seen all summer. Should I do a mid day today? I have waited now more than 16 hours to have anything, hoping to undo the damage but would like feedback. I haven't completed the book (am to the part just after the Asthma study) so someone give this newbie a clue!

My rule of thumb is:
A blown DD is not really a reason to have a MD. Having a MD today and a DD tomorrow will probably just make you shaky hungry. If your rotation is important, just keep eating as planned before the food explosion. If your rotation is not important AND A) you absolutely know you ate very near, at, or above UD levels, go ahead, change your rotation, and have a DD if you want. B) you are not sure how many calories you ate, just rotate as planned - stick with today is an UD. One blown DD does not a disaster make. We call it 'life' and take it in stride, knowing JUDDD forgives. A series of blown DDs is another story.

I blew my DD yesterday, too. Aimed for 500 calories. Ended up about 1000. (Nats won the game so Papa Johns gave use 50% off, and my DD11 LOVES their cheese bread. I got chicken wings)
I continued in my rotation. UD today. DD tomorrow. My blown DD wasn't high enough to make into an UD.

I don't know if I can calculate calories accurately but I am pretty sure it would be over an UD. I have been doing a DD today, but am definitely shaky, hungry and missed my workout because of it. I was worth it though because she is moving ;( I keep thinking 'why oh why did I per her on Match??? She really happy though but what a bummer for me!
