Stats: too much/getting there/just right!
WOE: JUDDD
Start Date: Jan 2012
I found my way back!!!!

I have been Juddding since January 2012. I lost 40 lbs. and was doing great and then summer rolled around. For some reason I really struggle with watching what I eat during the summer. In the past I would lose in the spring and gain it all back in the summer just to start all over again in January. (apparently I can't learn from my mistakes )

This summer has been a little different for me. Even though I didn't follow Juddd closely, I did try other intermittent fasting ideas. Even at that it was sporadic. Too many camping trips and weekend ball tournaments that made it hard to make good choices.

The biggest shocker for me this year is that I didn't gain a lot of weight back. Even with my poor food choices I was surprised to learn I had only gained 8 lbs. I think Juddd is fixing my broken metabolism

The best news is that I weighed 191 on Monday which was the start of my first DD (so I would have a starting weight) and I weighed today after my third DD and my weight is 183. I am back to my lowest weight since I stopped doing Juddd seriously. Those lbs. I put on this summer came off so easily.

I really want to thank whoever posted the BBC series that studied intermittent fasting. It was very motivating to watch and this time I am doing my DD like the female researcher suggested (lunch between 12 and 2 is the only meal eaten). It has been very easy to get back on my UD/DD cycle so far.

I have always been a lurker with an occasional post here and there. I appreciate everyone that regularly posts on this board. The newbies learn so much from you as do the people that pretty much have this WOE down pat.

Sorry this is so long. i am just happy to be back and glad my Judddcation didn't result in too much damage

Janet this is a great thing to read, so nice to know that a break does not not mean the end .

I am delighted that you are back and losing so well again. WTG

Thanks everyone . I appreciate the warm welcome back. I also wanted to add that along with fixing my metabolism Juddd has also taught me that it is o.k. to be hungry. I am not going to perish if my stomach is a little grumbly every once in a while. Even though I wasn't strictly following Juddd I was skipping one meal at least every other day.

Now I am ready to get down to business and drop this last 30 or so lbs. I feel so much more confident in the process and with the knowledge that this WOE works even when we aren't really working it.

I did not "lose" weight. I evicted it. It is gone and it ain't coming back!

JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.

Janet, welcome back! I, too, am "coming home". Don't you just feel so comfortable here? We will both see those pesky pounds gone (along with some of their evil friends) in no time!

Eight pounds?! That is amazing. I harbor a fear that I could gain that in about seven and a half minutes away from JUDDD, so your story is very, very encouraging. Thanks, and most of all, welcome back..
