anyone dry brushing skin while in fat loss mode?
I just unearthed my skin brush and decided I should start using it again. I think it does help with blood flow to aid skin tightening with loss. I know I have read in the past people thinking it helped them lose more. Any thoughts in this thinking bunch?

Hi, b_lou_who.
Don't know if it helps with fat loss but have dry skin-brushed for 10 years or so. My biggest reason is that it is so good for the lymph system. Yes, it is supposed to keep skin tight. Last edited by Whitlin'; 08-18-2012 at 08:20 PM.. |

I think it also brings out natural moisturizers. I know when I'm doing it, it seems like a moisturizing cream is a nice sealant to the moisture already there, but it's surprising how smooth your skin is without it.

I did it for years while I was losing a huge amount of weight. I was hoping it would tighten my skin, but it didn't at all.
![]() i do believe it is good for the lymph system. It may help keep skin tight, but I am not sure it can tighten skin like mine. My case may be different from others as I don't just have a little loose skin. My underarms look like huge flags flapping in the breeze! Hope it works for you.

dry brushing is using a soft natural brush (like one for the shower but really make sure it is soft) and brushing your skin from extremities in toward the heart, and in small circles. Boosts blood flow and supposed to aid lymph system. Some people swear it helps with fat mobilization and skin tightening. You just do it a bit every day, feels good.
I seem to do it for a while and then lose track of it. Rebounder good for lymph system too.
