UD Monday! What're you eating?

Had a great DD yesterday, lost another pound-that-I-gained-while-away so I'm getting closer to what's in my sig!

Here's today:

b: 3 eggs, 3 slices thick bacon, 2c cereal and 1/2c (all I had left) almond milk

l: leftover sausage-shirataki macaroni (not my favorite, will not be re-buying) and alfredo sauce

D: I think pork ribs and caulflower hash (grated cauli sauteed with onions and paprika, garlic powder, salt & pepper, yummy!)

Dessert: finish the cherries!

Just a cup of coffee with 2 tbsp half & half before going to work out.

Went to the French place for lunch: wonderful Nicoise salad and a cup of lobster bisque! Their foods are just amazing.

Frosted cinnamon roll, heavily buttered, warmed up and ending up sitting in a pool of melted butter. Yum!

Have no idea about supper.

I was just sitting here thinking, "I have over half of those chicken livers left that I didn't portion out and put in the freezer yesterday..."

Maybe I'll fix them for supper. Excellent for your vitamin B-12.

When I did the paleo 30 day challenge, I lived on the pate lol. I used coconut oil instead of butter (or ghee) because it was strict, but I would make about 1 pound at a time and just have a spoonful whenever I'd get the munchies.

That sounds delicious. I understand that the Paleolithic people did love their chicken liver pate!

I think I'll have to dip these into beaten egg, roll them in fine cracker crumbs and fry them up in butter, butter, butter.. my favorite. You know.. take something purely healthful and carb it up. Like we do in Iowa.

We always fried gizzards like that. 'tis the Southern way (well and corn meal!)

Ha! My sister was with me when I bought the livers the other day.. we always shop together, and she said, "Didn't you get any gizzards???" ('Cause we like them too.)
