For me, nothing is off limits. I respect my UD and DD calories and enjoy all foods!

If you are wondering about what to eat on DDs there are a bunch of good threads like DD food finds, DD staples and what's on your DD grocery list.
JUDDD changed my life. It transformed my health, gave me freedom and restored my confidence.

JUDDD is very simple, very livable and very flexible. JUDDD allows weight loss and life to happen simultaneously.

A good place to see what is eaten on JUDDD is to follow the UD and DD What are you eating threads. It is all about calories so you can eat whatever you like as long as the calories add up correctly.

Then you will simply eat the same foods as you would on a standard low carb diet plan, and that will include the foods that are within your carb limit only.

For myself, I eat anything and everything. I eat according to my calorie numbers, and that is the only limit to my food plan. So for breakfast, I may eat eggs and bacon, a cup of coffee with creamer, but may also have a small glass of orange juice with it and a slice of buttered toast. And maybe a spoonful of jam on that buttered toast. Or I may decide to have a bowl of oatmeal. Or cornflakes with milk and sugar. Or sausage/pepper gravy over biscuits. Of waffles. Or.. most often, I just skip breakfast altogether.

For lunch, I often have a huge salad of all kinds of greens and veggies, sometimes chunked up fruit on it and nuts, usually plenty of meat on it, maybe egg slices, probably some cheese of some kind, and whatever dressing I like. Or, maybe I'll have a couple of ham and Swiss cheese sandwiches. On a fabulous marble rye bread. With some wonderful mustard. Or lately, we've been enjoying a lot of bacon-lettuce-tomato sandwiches, since Iowa garden tomatoes are coming in real nice now. Might have an ear of buttered sweet corn with it too, sprinkled with a little salt. That's yummy.

Supper is whatever I want. Usually meat of some kind, veggies.. lately I'm feasting on fresh veggies of all kinds that I'm getting at our Farmer's Markets, so very heavy on the veggies lately.

Basically, I eat the same foods my mother fixed for us so many years ago when I was a kid and she fixed most all of our foods from scratch in her own kitchen. Good foods, well prepared, very little commercially produced stuff.

I don't have any off limits foods. I average a very modest moderate carb level, usually in the 100 to 150 grams daily area. That is from a whole lot of very low carb and low-ish carb foods, and some higher carb extras, which I appreciate.

The only thing I pay much attention to is the CALORIE numbers of my daily totals. For the most part I measure/weigh out my foods and portions, at least the DDs.. although periodically I have to get strict and do that on my UDs too.. but I'm doing maintenance now, so don't do that on every single Up Day. I respect my calorie numbers and try to abide by them pretty closely, pretty much all the time. Works like a charm.
Best wishes, Pat

Pretty much whatever I want. Within reason, of course.

Now that I've given myself the freedom to eat whatever, I tend to gravitate towards fruits and vegetables and lean proteins like fish. I just feel better eating that way.

But I'll have the occasional hot fudge sundae, too. Not often, but I love that no foods are off limits. I like feeling in control of my food choices, not ceding control to some guru who created some diet.

JUDDD tells you when to eat, not what.

We all do it so differently and that's the wonderful success in my opinion of JUDDD. I keep a menu blog now. You can visit it to see my UP/DD cycles if you want. I stay pretty low carb cuz of my T2 and cuz of breast cancer recovery.
