Another tasty treat for DD's- 110 cal seafood quesadilla

I promised to post "recipes" I found that are quick, easy and yummy for DD's here as well as in the DD recipe list - here is what I have really been enjoying lately - and it could NOT be easier.

1/2 a Joseph's Lavash Bread (50 cals)
1 Weight Watchers White Cheddar Triangle (30 cals)
1 30 calorie stick of imitation crab leg (the longer ones are 45 cals, the shorter ones 30, so just check the package) (30 cals)

Cut the crab leg into thin slices, spread out over half of the Lavash Bread. Then cut the cheese into small chunks and spread throughout.

Fold the top half of the Lavash over the bottom have and microwave for 40 seconds until the cheese is melted.

Cut into slices and enjoy like a quesadilla. 110 calories (14 grams carbs, 4 fiber and 9 protein) for a really yummy meal - for me usually lunch.

(The options here are endless, replace the crab sticks with shrimp or chicken, use one of the other Laughing Cow light cheeses, add some veggies....you'd just have to adjust the calorie count as needed. I am just really enjoying the simplicity of the version above and it is really yummy!

If you want something badly enough, you'll find a way. If you don't you'll find an excuse.

I never heard of Lavash bread before so I clicked on the Netrition link and it looks awesome! I put it in my Netrition shopping cart and can't wait to try it.

Yum! Thanks for the simple recipe! I also like to cook a piece of tilapia in a zip and steam bag in the microwave. Then I put it in the fridge for when I need it.

Last night I chopped up the cold tilapia filet and put it on top of a mixed veggie salad with EVOO and ACV dressing. It was the perfect DD dinner.

I could have put it in Lavash bread and it would have been even better! I love learning about new and yummy foods.

That might be nice in Joseph's pitas too - I've got small ones that are 45 cal, large ones for 60 cal... or a Mama Lupe tortilla... I think those are 60 cal too.

I gotta get some imitation crab meat - haven't had that in a while. Great idea! Thanks for sharing!

Yummy just reminded me of an old WW item I used to eat, Josephs pita, 45cal, diced canned chicken 60 cals lettuce mixes with red wine vinegrette 145cals total
