First DD yesterday

I wasn't sure what to expect from my first DD, but it really wasn't too bad for the most part. I ate really filling foods for my wee bitty amount of calories. The only time it bothered me was about 8pm on. For those that haven't read some of my other posts, I"m in a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat right now (actually we open next week) and it is a very dance heavy show. So, once we started into perfecting some of the dances I found myself getting a little hungry with a slight headache. It wasn't too bad, but I did notice it and really had to push through by the end of the night.
FYI, I just ate more at breakfast today than I did all day yesterday. Felt pretty good. lol. If the first week of this is the worst, I think I can handle it. I just think I need to save more of my calories on DD for later in the day to help power through the 2 hours of dancing in the show! The scale was down 1 1/2 pounds after one day (I"m sure it will be up again tomorrow after I actually eat all day today)... but even if that is all I lose all week, it will be better than I was doing previously!

Williamson, the first week is absolutely the hardest, and lots (though not all) benefit from loading those calories toward the end of the day.
I love DDs now, and I'd have sworn that would not ever, ever be possible.
Break legs with your run. Nothing better than sharing a great show with a great audience.

Congrats on making it successfully through your first DD!! Sounds like you are figuring things out and if you need to spread your food out so you won't be tired and hungry from all that dancing you should do it that way.

The show must go on as they say! Sounds like loads of fun! KUTGW!
