Calorie Question...

...I'm sure the answer is here on the JUDDD forum, but haven't found it yet.

When you use the calculator on the JUDDD website, would it be better to put in your goal weight and use those numbers or just use your current weight?

current weight is what it is designed for. Perhaps if a person were within 10 pounds of their goal weight it would not matter.

WOE: JUDDD/PHD, LC now that my BG is getting weird
Start Date: JUDDD 1/1/12 + LCHF 12/1/13 (controlling diabetes)
Current weight.

Unless you are very close to goal (like within 10 pounds - she guessed) then goal weight is probably okay.

UDs have to be high enough to convince your body it is adequately fed. Current weight aims for that amount.

JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.

Current weight. You should probably recheck after you lose a fair amount of weight.
