I was craving that... so I had this instead...

I was seriously craving a turkey bacon sub sandwich, so instead I made a turkey bacon omelet and it actually helped!

Large - Egg, 2 egg (53g) 140
Hormel Black Label - Fully Cooked Bacon, 2 slices 35
Castlewood Reserve - Herb Roasted Turkey, 2 oz 60
Generic - Yellow Onion Sauteed, 1 ounce (28g) 37
Sargento - Reduced Fat 4 Cheese Mexican W/ 2% Milk 1/4 cup 80

Total: 352 calories - and with the egg it will keep me way fuller than all that bread ever would have. 2oz of turkey was way too much for my omelet so I'm going to have the slice I left out for a snack later. I would have thrown tomato in too, but it had spoiled. Only thing to improve it would be some avocado, but that's too high for today.

What cravings have you successfully killed with replacements lately?

Sometimes when I'm craving sweets I'll make a sweet vanilla latte. It usually does the trick. Your omelette sounds very yummy..

I have omelettes alot! I have always had cravings for BLT. It reminds me of my childhood which my dad was always frying bacon! So, I fry an egg hard and then add 2 slices of bacon sandwiched in between 2 tomatoes with lettuce for the bread! It tastes just like it has the toast and I don't have to worry about calories on a DD! Less than 200 cals and so satisfying!
